I hope y'all are having a great Saturday so far.
While I wish I was typing about some green grass, and some nice sunshine with warmer temperatures, it does not appear that mother nature agrees with me. So we are back for some more winter weather.
This post will primarily be about potential for winter weather this evening and overnight. Another post for the upcoming larger system will be later this evening (I hope)

There is some potential for some light snowfall tonight once the temperatures start falling. Right now, it is sitting at a trace to two inches for most, and that is mainly due to how spotty that the snowfall will be, so some areas could get very little, which some could be in the 1-2" range. I do want to note that this forecast is based on the amount that falls from the sky, and not what actually accumulates. That is a big thing with this due to the warmer temperatures and the increase in moisture in the ground that alot of this snow could melt and not actually amount to much. I would love to forecast exactly how much snowfall would be on the ground, but that is hard to do, and very very easy to get wrong, so I am just going to stick to what I am good with. Theres a good chance that 50-70% of what will fall, won't be measurable for most just due to the situation.
I am not expecting anything crazy impacts from this, and is a mute point compared to what everyone else is focused on, but it is still weather, and it still needs to be covered.
As I mentioned before, if you are looking for an update regarding next weeks potential for winter weather, check back this evening. I don't like to do early forecast at all, so we will see what I can come up with, till then, have a good one, and stay safe.
